This blogging thing is really getting to me. I keep thinking about getting my butt on here to write and then get distracted with something else.
So lets catch up, shall we?
The holidays are over. I'm both sad and joyful about it. On the one hand the holidays are over, wah! The lights and decorations are gone and my house is a bore to look at again. There's no more anticipation of Phoebe opening her presents, no more fuzzy holiday movies, no more eating of every fattening Christmas cookie that exists.
On the other hand, my house is peaceful. No more pressure. No more party planning, no more getting out of our routine. It's nice. I like it.
Christmas was nice. Phoebe wasn't into opening presents AT ALL. Like I had to open all of her presents for her.
Also, we never saw Santa. Phoebe is still rather scared of the man in red.
Next year will be the "Oooh, I'm so excited" year, right? I sure hope so.
We also got SNOW! On Christmas! In Texas! Wooooo! I was thrilled. Phoebe? Not so much. Again, next year, right?
There was a lot of fun cousin play time, which could have possibly been my favorite part of the whole holiday.
Bottom line, the holidays were good. And I'm unbelievably thankful for that.
