Saturday Scoop

Since I've somehow managed to attract a few new readers (<3 y'all already!), I decided to do a post listing 5 facts about myself. So here we go!

--I was born in Austin, Texas, but have since lived in 6 other states. No, I'm not a military kid either. My dad was a paint contractor and we moved wherever the business was booming.

--When I met Charlie (my hubby), I was actually dating someone else that he worked with. The guy turned out to be a skeeve, but the bad experience did lead me to Charlie. I'd say it was a win.

--I'm obsessed with all things Harry Potter. I started reading the books when I was 14 and went to 3 midnight book release parties. I saw almost every movie on opening day in the theater and I dream of the day I can go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Yeah. So hope you didn't just leave because of that. :)

--I love rock music, but can't help going back and listening to old NSYNC and Backstreet Boy songs. I went to 2 NSYNC concerts when I was 14 and one Backstreet Boy concert when I was 13. Yep, I was one of those.

--I've lost 75 pounds since having Phoebe. It's kind of sick really. Wanna know how? I was one of those seriously lucky ones who lost it from BREASTFEEDING. Oh and being sick for 6 months with gallstones before I had to get my gallbladder removed, but I mostly chalk it up to breastfeeding.

I don't take it for granted, I know I'm lucky that breastfeeding actually made me drop weight.
