Well two and a half came and went and there was no letter from momma. Sorry little girl. So instead, here is a inching closer to three letter.
Dear baby girl Phoebe,
My oh my, how have we already been in each other's lives for 2 years, 7 months and 20 days?? It is just so beyond my brain that you are so furiously moving towards being a 3 year old kid.
Your language is flourishing each day. You're great at repeating which means daddy and I have to watch what we say. We haven't had a problem with any bad words though, thank goodness.
I am really enjoying the talking though. Not only can you tell me what you want, but you can say funny things that make me laugh and fill my heart with joy.
Although you still have your fit throwing moments, they seem to be letting up a little bit. You're happy and silly more often than not now.
You're really shy right now. Strangers and family that you don't see often scare you and you always make me pick you up so you can bury your face in my shoulder. I don't mind the shyness at all, but it does make going to nursery at church a little rough.
You're sleeping fairly well now, which is great for this momma.
You like to explore outside and are currently having fun with your sandbox. You find burying your feet to be thrilling and like to pull them out from the sand and yell "ta-da!" which makes me laugh every time.
You're a ball of energy who would rather be making sprints across the house than sitting and coloring. You think chasing is awesome, especially when Dodger will run too.
Speaking of Dodger, holy wow you love that dog. It's turned into a sweet relationship. You like to lay by him, pet him, tell him "good boy" and try to make him "go fast" outside.
Daddy and I love you so much. I thank our Heavenly Father all the time for blessing me with such a wonderful little girl. I hope our relationship always stays strong and that I can continue to give you whatever you need in life.
I love you times infinity baby girl.
Xoxo,
Momma
