Texas Heat

I hate Texas summers. Or rather, I hate Texas summers with a toddler that wants to be outside a lot.

No amount of water or shorts seems to help. The heat around here is awful and we haven't even made it to 100 yet.

I just don't know what to do. I can only distract Phoebe indoors for so long until she's whining at the door to go out.

Blech. This momma needs to get over it I guess. Maybe a trip to a shady park will help. Oh wait, we don't have a nice shady park!

I keep thinking of taking her to the pool, but honestly? Public pools skeeve me out.

We have a little blow up pool, but our mosquitos are so bad I just don't want to go there.

Can I reinforce again how much I hate Texas summers?

At least going out let's me capture cute moments like this...
