Birthday Presents!

Phoebe's party isn't until Sat., but she has already been super spoiled with some awesome presents!

On her actual birthday, Grandpa John E and Pat came over to see her. They brought her the cutest little books and a really awesome toy camera. I wish Phoebe would have been more warm to them, but she's in the midst of her stranger anxiety phase. She loves the books and the camera. Thanks Grandpa and Pat!

Then we decided to come inside and open the present that Great Aunt Sharon left behind for her. Another adorable book + a stuffed pig! She loves books to much so I'm excited she's getting some new ones.

On the 17th we went out shopping and bought her some new soft soled shoes from Target (she won't wear her Stride Rites!) and this adorable dress from The Children's place.

Then last night Charlie decided he couldn't wait until her party to give her the PBK Anywhere Chair we bought for her. It is SO cute and I can't believe how much she loves it. It's the perfect height for her to climb in and out of and it's SO comfy!

Then last night Grandpa and Grandma decided to put her car together that they bought her. It would have been hard to bring these big things up to the park for her birthday party. Again, she loves this present. I pushed her around the kitchen in it a lot last night and she likes to turn the steering wheel.

Then today we took it outside for a spin.

Today was also her 1 year appointment at the Dr.'s. She weighs 22 lbs, 10 oz., and is 30 inches tall now. Her head circumference is 17.5". She was super clingy and cried a lot at the Dr. this time and screamed when she got her shots. I felt to bad. I HATE shots! Then on top of that she had to get her finger pricked to check for anemia. UGH. But once we got out of there, she was fine and she's napping now.

I still can't believe my baby is one and now we're heading towards two. She just grows more curious and silly everyday and I love her so much. Her personality is really starting to show and I think she's going to continue to be a lot of fun and she grows older. LOVE YOU PHOEBE!!
Love,
Mommy
