Things I Don't Want to Forget

I've been seeing different mommies use this title quite a bit lately and I think it's such a great idea. Sometimes I just get way too busy (or I'm way too tired) to sit down and think about what to write, so if I can at least accomplish this once a month that would be nice.

So here are the things Phoebe is doing lately that I just don't want to forget.

- She loves this little pink puppy that I bought for our future child a way long time ago. We try to put it in her crib every night so when she wakes up in the morning and sees her, she says "hey" in her little voice and grabs her to give her a big hug and kiss. I love it!

-Speaking of morning kisses, she had an obsession with giving them to Charlie in the mornings. She'll kiss him on his forehead, his nose, his lips, anywhere she can get to on his face. I'm willing to bet that's the best way to wake up in the morning.

- She loves the YoGabbaGabba "I like to dance" video clip. I don't let her watch full shows, but I play this clip in YouTube for her and she is obsessed. She gets a HUGE smile on her face when she sees it, then turns into a zombie while the rest of the 2+ minute clip plays.

- She giggles when she gets to run outside. It's almost a mischievous giggle like "I'm free and you can't catch me!".

- She has this little barn that you can match up the front and back of an animal on and it will sing a song. She loves to walk around, turning the barn back and forth like a steering wheel while it plays. It makes me laugh every time!

- She does a fist pump dance. I hate to call it that because I HATE all things Jersey Shore, but that's the only thing I can think to call her little dance. Anytime she hears a beat she likes she walks around shooting that fist up and down.

- When we ask her if she wants to take a bath, she gets a huge smile on her face and immediately starts walking to the bathroom. I love how much she loves baths!

- She is starting to say something that sounds really close to "love you". It just makes me melt into a gushy puddle of love.

- She says "hey daddy" whenever she sees Charlie. It's in like the cutest, most innocent little voice too.

Phoebe was a pirate for Halloween. I made her skirt and vest and just bought leggings and a shirt to go with them. We had a great time at the trunk-or-treat!
